ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking an Aerospace Technician for a Space Exploration company which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing looking to further their career in aerospace.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct malfunctions by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenance
- Operate various material handling equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lifts, flight vehicle and subassembly transportation equipment, truck-trailer combinations, and other ground support equipment as required
- Setup and operate a wide range of precision calibrated tools including, but not limited to, torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser trackers, height gauges, and optical measuring instruments
- Perform routine maintenance functions such as daily clean-up of work areas to support 5S, FOD, and ESD
- Ability to work off-shift, extended overtime, and weekends if/when vital
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-8+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or another relevant field
- Experience in at least one of the following is required: fluids and tubing install, instrumentation, and electrical harness routing, general Aerospace/Launch vehicle assembly
- Interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions, and test procedures
