Sheet Metal Mechanic - NM

Aeroparts Manufacturing & Repair, an aviation restoration, repair, and manufacturing company based in Rio Rancho NM, is seeking a sheet metal Mechanic to add to our growing team!

The biggest brands in aviation turn to AeroParts for critical component repair, fabrication, and replacement parts to keep their fleets flying in top condition. AeroParts has the people, processes, and proprietary solutions to restore aircraft components to OEM and better-than-OEM performance. We handle everything from custom sheet metal manufacturing to aircraft duct repair and to reconditioning the complex components of the fuel tank inerting systems, often at a fraction of the cost of new components.

• 2 years of experience in the Aircraft Industry preferred
• Familiarity with reading blueprints and specifications
• Development from blueprints or mylars
• Familiar with fitting, bending, rolling and riveting, use of power brake on aircraft alloys
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Measurement competencies
• Demonstration of hands-on fabrication skills
