If you are a seasoned aircraft inspection professional looking to make an impact in a rewarding industry, join our team! As an Aircraft Inspector IV, you will be using your skills and expertise to inspect our aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and parts to ensure airworthiness and conformance to the manufacturers specifications and government regulations. Youll be responsible for identifying any breach of standards for airworthiness. Your inspection authority will include all in-process inspections, all final inspections, and approval for return to service of all work.

Must-haves:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
    • A higher level degree may substitute for experience
    • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification
  • Advanced knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment and parts
  • Thorough understanding and experience with the practical application of product audit and inspection processes and procedures
  • Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English
  • Must be able to pass an occupational physical that includes a hearing and vision test
  • To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required 
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Preferred:

  • Understanding of 14 CFR Chapter 1
  • Experience on wide body aircraft, including but not limited to, Boeing 767, 777, and 747
  • Thorough understanding of civil or government aviation inspection operations and/or FAA Repair Station operations
  • Inspection Authorization (IA) Designation
  • Experience with first article inspections
  • Prior experience with aircraft modifications
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
