The Emirates Airline Foundation is a non-profit charity organisation which aims to improve the quality of life for children, regardless of geographical, political, or religious boundaries, and to help them maintain or improve their human dignity. Focussing particularly on children trapped in extreme poverty, the foundation, made up of volunteer employees and friends of the Emirates Group, strives to reduce illness and childhood mortality rates. 


Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates Airline & Group, the foundation provides humanitarian, philanthropic aid and services for children, with the minimum amount of administrative expense.


About the Role:
This role is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, self-starter to be involved in the Emirates Airline Foundations. The selected candidate will be Responsible for providing comprehensive administration support for the Emirates Airline Foundation (EKF) and its global projects.


What you will do:
• Manage the board meeting process (agendas, minutes, actions) and compile and maintain monthly folders on the financial records of the EKF. 
• Liaise with the auditors to support the audit cycles and findings.
• Review and tally the monthly Skywards report of tickets issued 
• Maintain a comprehensive record of financial reporting by the beneficiaries and follow-up with them for the reports.
• Prepare, dispatch and signing of MoUs with the beneficiaries.
• Continuously manage the EKF mailbox, to ensure timely turnaround of action items. This includes both solicited and unsolicited emails.  
• Account manage the relationship with our Regulator (IACAD) and meet them quarterly, including their bi-annual visit/inspection and financial audit
• Manage the redemption of ticket requests (vet, issue, report)
• Account manage the relationship with existing projects and organize a field visit to each of our project, with Secretary General, yearly.
• Manage the ENBD online accounting for payments and assist the Secretary General in the preparation of the Budget.

Job Requirements:

This job might be for you if you have:
• Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)  
• 5+ yrs.  in General Administration experience
• Arabic speakers would have a distinct advantage.


You'll have an edge if you possess:
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (including MS Excel) is required 
• Basic accounting knowledge and experience 
• Experience working with senior executives 
• Project Management experience is preferred 
• Previous experience working / volunteering for a NGO / Development / Aid organisation would be highly regarded 
• Basic reservation experience would be beneficial.
