Description:As the Administrative Assistant to the Missiles and Fire Control, Enterprise Performance organization and staff, the successful applicant will perform a variety of administrative duties and other office management tasks. The successful candidate will exercise discretion and sound judgment.


Summary of key duties for this position:
• Maintain calendar, arrange meetings, and make travel arrangements
• Ensure all correspondence is accurate, complete and properly handled
• Utilize standard software (e.g. MS Office Applications, SharePoint, Internet) to compose correspondence, spreadsheets, PowerPoint charts and Lockheed Martin unique software (e.g. Concur) for managing expense reports
• Assure detail in tasks, provide updates, and status tasks to meet deadlines
• Determine priorities in regards to non-routine situations and remedy commitments to maximize leadership efficiency
• For the purpose of planning and management of leadership off site meetings you will travel occasionally
• Perform office logistical management and additional assignments as required in support of the leadership staff
Basic Qualifications:
• Must have prior experience supporting senior level management (i.e. Senior Managers, Directors, and/ or Executive leaders)
• Proven experience applying critical thinking to tasks and calendar prioritization
• Experience using mobile technology to handle work issues outside of normal work hours
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and quickly adjust to changing priorities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, and appropriate sensitivity to all issues
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to interface with multiple levels of management
• Experience in travel booking and expense reconciliation (preferred Concur experience)
• Experience managing office supply procurement
• Ability to work well independently, but function within a team environment
• Organizational skills
• Attention to detail

• Working knowledge of Box site to include creation of folders, organization and navigation
• Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff as well as external customers, clients and vendors

• Ability to coordinate and arrange large events and internal symposiums
•Coordination of Facilities and Information/Telecom/Computer support for the team
•Arrangement and scheduling of complex, multi-site meetings with multiple senior executives

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
