The Boeing Company is looking for an Engineering Support Systems Integrator to become part of the C-17 Integrated Logistics team.  The successful applicant will be a highly motivated, self-starter with a high degree of technical competency.  The selected candidate will work across all areas of engineering, product support, and project management to ensure activities and tasks are completed to plan within cost and schedule targets.  The candidate will interact with senior leadership and customer representatives to communicate status and performance to plan

In this role, you will provide data development for integrated support subsystems.  You will assist in the development of support program plans and schedules, validates standard deliverables and supports trade studies for platform subsystems.  Additionally, you will research, documents and provides technical information and supports the establishment of processes to develop and maintain support products, engineering data and integrated support infrastructure.

This is a hybrid position that allows some telecommuting.  The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the Warner Robins, GA location.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work multiple projects concurrently and for each project be responsible for gathering and tracking inputs from stakeholders across the support system elements

  • Define and schedule all support system elements for execution, and ensure they are complete and correct prior to any necessary flight test, kit proof, and Field Certification Boarding

  • Support project development from kickoff through project closure

  • Maintain and provide accurate and up to date status on progress, risks, issues, and resolutions of support system elements

  • Build strong project implementation teams and facilitate team discussions as appropriate

  • Prioritize, delegate and track tasks and action items needed to achieve project completion

  • Develop overall project plan consistent with project objectives as defined by the project owner and key stakeholders

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.  (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 3+ years supporting in-service military aircraft or modification programs

  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams

  • 3+ years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools

  • Experience in fast paced environment with a multi-faceted team

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with defense or commercial-derivative government aircraft platforms

  • Experience with federated, multi-ship or multi-station training systems

  • Intermediate to advanced experience in operating system (Windows and/or Linux) installation, setup, and basic troubleshooting

  • Intermediate to advanced experience in software application installation and configuration

  • Basic to intermediate experience in configuration and maintenance of network switches and other networking appliances

  • Experience in integration and test of subsystems and system of systems

  • Basic ability to interpret and utilize mechanical drawings and electrical schematics to validate and troubleshoot installation of hardware and system interconnects

  • Basic ability to automate simple integration tasks through scripting or other automation tools

  • Experience in supporting a product through an entire development cycle

  • Experience working within an Agile development environment

Typical Education:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years related work experience, 7 years related work experience, etc.).

This position will be for 1st shift.

Summary pay range:        87,550 – 118,450
