This position is in the Cash Management Solutions (CMS) organization within Lockheed Martin Global Financial Services (GFS). It is responsible for supporting Lockheed Martin business areas by providing accounts receivable management, collections, and cash applications support, as well as providing cash forecasting insight to the cash planners, financial planning and analysis, and corporate treasury. Responsibilities also include metrics tracking, analysis reporting, driving continuous improvement, preparing, analyzing, and interpreting data and developing metrics packages throughout the Cash Operations organization. Specifically, the position will interface directly with our key customers to provide meaningful feedback and provide data that will enable them to make business related decisions. The incumbent analyzes team results; meets with management to discuss results/key drivers and develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies identified during metrics reviews.

This position is responsible for managing commercial accounts receivable for the Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Sikorsky Business Area and works closely with billing, program finance, contracts, customer service representatives, business operations, and cash planners each month to ensure cash targets are met. This position will play a critical role in influencing commercial customers and other facets of the organization to drive consistent and favorable collection results. The job will require extensively utilizing strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as ability to successfully analyze and accurately resolve accounting transactions and balances.

Core work is cyclical and follows a schedule, but at times this role contains a dynamic component which requires the ability to quickly adapt to new processes and deliver high quality work under pressure. Occasional weekend support may be required on an as needed basis especially during peak times including year-end and month-end closing. They must be comfortable adapting to new technology in a constantly changing and complex financial world.

This is a fast paced, challenging position where the candidate must be a proven high performer and quick learner. The candidate must be able and willing to support and meet tight deadlines on a continuous basis while staying focused on internal (CMS) and external (RMS) policies and procedures. An ability to work effectively both independently and in a supportive, diverse team environment is expected. The employee will be expected to master various systems and processes while providing excellent customer service and maintaining frequent contact with business partners. The employee will also be expected to maintain required financial controls and to support audits as necessary.
Basic Qualifications:
-Finance, Accounting, or related degree/experience
-Experience with managing accounts receivable, credit limits, cash applications, and cash forecasting
-Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, OneNote, Power Point, Word, and Excel (pivot tables & formulas)
-Experience with SAP
-Proven advanced analytical skills
-Ability to successfully and efficiently multi-task
-Exceptional teamwork attitude and successful related teaming experience
-Proven quick learner with an aptitude for various systems & processes
-Work style demonstrating high level of accountability and professionalism
-Experience with creating process improvements

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
