Description:This position is located at Quonset Point, Rhode Island, and reports directly to the C-130J MATS Operations Manager at Little Rock AFB, Arkansas. Position works as the site liaison for the Little Rock Training System Support Center (TSSC). Is responsible for the daily operations of server, PC, user accounts and system backups. Continually install, maintain, repair and enhance the LAN to guarantee system operation. Troubleshoots and installs software and hardware on workstations and desktop systems, printers, back-ups, and associated equipment. Interpret and diagnose the above-mentioned server system logs to isolate operating system issues. Researches and provides specifications for hardware and software to support logistical requirements for replacement, repair or enhancement of the system or associated equipment.
This position will be responsible for evaluating Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) maintenance 781 write-ups when presented by the CLS contractor not believed to be maintenance discrepancies. This position will evaluate 781 write-ups believed to be a TSSC interface process Design Change (DC)/Deficiency Report (DR); this position will coordinate with the TSSC engineering staff to determine if a DC/DR exists. If confirmed, the TSSC contractor will initiate a DC/DR IAW TSSC contractor processes.
This position will be responsible for on-site Information Technology (IT)/Cybersecurity to include, performing Security Assessments and Accreditations and maintaining CBT/Classroom equipment, maintenance and instructor personal computer equipment, GTIMS, TMS, video teleconferencing, and TSSC and SIMCERT interface. Maintaining inventory records for both hardware and software components. Assists and instruct users as new equipment/software is introduced. Provides training, orientation and assistance to newly hired personnel as required. Additional duties and related responsibilities will be assigned as required.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have or be able to obtain and maintain the minimum certification requirements as directed in DoD Directive 8570.01M to an IAT level 2, i.e. CompTIA’s Security+ certification or equivalent. The candidate must be able to install, operate and maintain Network, Server and PC equipment and their peripherals to include the Microsoft Windows Operating systems, Server Hardware, Switches, Printers and UPS systems. The candidate must be able to maintain and evaluate vulnerability and security configuration assessment results. Must be able to work flexible hours. Experience with Industry standard operating systems such as Microsoft, Linux, Apple and Cisco needed Must also be proficient in industry standard office applications such as Microsoft and Adobe products. Must have worked in an environment where candidate was required to interact with multiple functional areas of a diverse nature. The candidate must have demonstrated outstanding interpersonal skills, excellent leadership traits, strong oral & written communication abilities, solid ability to organize and a high desire to provide customer satisfaction. Candidate must be capable of acquiring and maintaining a SECRET clearance
Desired Skills:
CompTIA Network+ and A+ and Microsoft IT certifications are highly desired. Experience working within the DoD infrastructure is highly desired. Working knowledge of IDP’s, Firewalls, Routers, SSL VPN platforms is desired. Experience supporting Information Assurance activities as either a Systems Administrator or Systems Engineer and familiar with the NIST and RMF Certification & Accreditation processes. Simulator operation and maintenance experience desired. Bachelors degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science or five years of real world network and server experience desired.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
