Title: Crew Scheduler (Full time)
Department: Operations Control Center (OCC)
Description: The Crew Scheduler is responsible for rostering all pilots and cabin crew for flights being dispatched.
Reports to: Crew Scheduling Supervisor / OCC Manager

Qualifications
a) Must have a solid understanding of Flight Time Limitations rules as administered by Overseas Territories Aviation Requirements (OTARs).
b) Must have solid computer skills using aviation-based information management systems, ideally Blue One Aircraft & Crew Management software.
c) Must have at least 1 year previous aviation experience in a flight operations / crew scheduling / crew planning position.
d) Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
e) Must be 21 years of age or more for compliance purposes.

Duties and Responsibilities
a) Create fair, monthly flight rosters in a timely manner for Flight Crew and Cabin Crew in accordance with the interCaribbean Airways Flight Time Limitations policy and OTAR’s.
b) Disseminate the next monthly flight roster to all crew members by the 25th day of each calendar month.
c) Hourly tracking of crew schedule and, where necessary, modification of daily crewmember activity to ensure all crewmembers remain within daily flight time limits.
d) Strategic planning to ensure all crew members remain in 28-day, monthly and yearly flight time limits.
e) Exchange information with company flight dispatchers to ensure all flights are manned properly and reported correctly in the Management Information System.
f) Responsible for arranging planned and unplanned crew accommodations such as hotel, flight, and ground transportation.
g) Ensure all training, crew positioning, and other workplace related activities that may affect flight time limitations are entered into the Management Information System and labelled correctly.
h) Maintain daily contact with crew members to ensure clear understanding of flight assignments and any changes to those flight assignments.
i) Maintain situational awareness of the flight activity and crew coverage for a five-day future forecast period.
j) Be able to lift up to 10 lbs if required
