Position Overview:

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking an Electrical Manufacturing Planner located in Tukwila, WA. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating manufacturing engineering planning instructions, defining parts, plans and tools requirements as needed to support production.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate and Experienced and Electrical Manufacturing Planners

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.

  • Assists with development and integration of suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.

  • Assists in reviewing supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met.

  • Identifies tooling requirements and initiates tooling orders based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.

  • Assists in tooling dispositions.

  • Investigates and resolves manufacturing related issues of limited scope.

  • Assists with producibility assessments for part or product designs.

  • Assists in providing input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules.

  • Develops work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.

  • Assists in the review, maintenance and monitoring of internal documents.

  • Works under general supervision.

    This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

    This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Previous experience in manufacturing engineering or a production environment.

    • Previous experience in wire design, wire installation or in working with electrical equipment.

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree

    • Experience with GOLD system or Supply Chain ordering systems

    • Experience with power systems or power subsystems

    • Experience using manufacturing tools (MESci, etc)

    Typical Education/Experience:

    Associate (Level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years related work experience, etc.).

    Experienced (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years related work experience, 5 years related work experience, etc.).

    Relocation:

    This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Note: Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates.

    Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range (Associate - Level 2): $60,350 - $81,650. Summary pay range (Mid-Level - Level 3): $69,700 - $94,300
