Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Functional Specialist to join our Customer Support and Services Team based in Grand Prairie, TX.


This role supports the Customer Support Team in North America providing a high level of technical support for SAP applications, improvements and maintenance.  This role also provides support for new systems and processes that require a combination of business and technical skills to solve business challenges with the use of technology.

Meet the team:

The Procurement team&39;s mission is in charge of a (Customer/Airbus Customer Center) portfolio and is Airbus representative for any concerns regarding Spares, Repair, Parts By Hour/ Performance Based Services (PBH/PBS), Blades, AOG and Warranty administration flow. Guarantee the global logistics performance to the customers/customer centers for Spares, Repair, Parts By Hour/ Performance Based Services (PBH/PBS), Blades, AOG and Warranty needs while securing Airbus Material & Logistics financial performance.  Manage and coordinate all actions for customer satisfaction. Ensure the sustainability of Material and Logistics Franchising deployment. Reinforce partnership between central Material and Logistics Service Center, local Customer Center and Regional Hub.

Your challenges:

1.    SAP Support, Development and Improvement: 40

  • Provide support to Customer Support Representatives (CSR) for SAP system functionalities, navigation, and troubleshooting
  • Own SAP customer database maintenance and data integrity, troubleshooting with other departments as the need arises.
  • Apply business process knowledge and SAP experience to successfully resolve and implement changes to the SAP Production environment
  • Provide improvements, assistance, and participation with the technology; the design, development, reporting, and implementation of new functionality in SAP
  • Use proper methodologies, processes and tools for testing of functionality. Provide system integration assistance.
  • Collaborate with internal groups to ensure SAP functionality and reporting needs are being met
  • Prepare specifications to initiate changes in SAP
  • Work with all subsidiaries as needed regarding SAP cross dock, order issues and/or open concerns

2.    Process and Compliance: 30

  • Methodically review, update and create process documentation including SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and user guides, ensuring accuracy and relevance
  • Work with the Quality Group to ensure Customer Support remains ISO compliant regarding procedural document requirements
  • Responsible for accurate digital filing of Work Instructions and Procedural Documentation
  • Monitor and maintain CDIT AH regulations.

3.    Training and Systems Support: 30

  • Collaborate with team trainer to identify gaps in knowledge and skills related to SAP
  • Contribute insights and expertise to develop training materials focused on SAP functionality
  • Conduct training sessions/workshops to impart knowledge on system updates, new feature, and standard methodologies
  • Work special projects as assigned by management
  • Complete training required by management in order to improve skill development and personal growth
  • Provide back up support for AirbusWorld, and the Business Systems Manager&39;s duties when applicable

Your boarding pass:

Required

•      5 years of associated work experience

  • 3 years of SAP experience (Possesses Subject Matter Expert (SME) experience in one or more functional area/module, specifically in the area of and Sales and Distribution (SD) , Material Management (MM) or Production Planning (PP))

Preferred:

•      3 years of proven experience in Aerospace industry or related field

  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
  • PDCA trained
  • SAP SD/MM or PP certifications
  • Advanced SAP Training
