Position Summary

The Planning Analyst monitors production schedules and expedites the flow of materials and parts through production area. Responsible for creating and maintaining a schedule for customer orders. Communicates schedules and deadlines to all internal departments and external suppliers as needed. The Production Planner ensures smooth operations throughout the production and distribution life of a given product with an emphasis for On Time Delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Reads production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock and order priority
  • Monitors production schedules
  • Summarizes daily and weekly Master Schedules for released orders and compares these to the operation Plan to ensure that the Schedules are aligned with Sale commitments
  • Coordinates with Purchasing/Engineering/Quality/Manufacturing/Sales to better understand lead times for scheduled items, seeks way to reduce internal lead time as well as lead times to the customer
  • Updates Customer Service Reps on status
  • Computer status updates
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by Manager

Minimum Education or Experience

  • A. degree preferred
  • Scheduling experience required

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $80,700.00 to $121,100.00 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company&39;s medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
