Job overview and responsibilities
The Specialist- NOC Program Management role will contribute to the efficient functioning of our projects and initiatives by providing comprehensive support and leveraging project management skills.The Specialist will play a pivotal role in assisting project managers and the Program Management team in organizing, monitoring, and executing various projects.This role requires a proactive individual with exceptional organizational abilities, keen attention to detail, and a passion for contributing to successful project outcomes.
- Project Support
- Help develop detailed project plans outlining scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and milestones
- Provide administrative and operational support to project managers, ensuring project documentation, tasks and resources are efficiently managed and maintained
- Documentation Management
- Create, update, and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, meeting minutes, and status reports
- Coordination and Communication
- Facilitate communication among project stakeholders, coordinate meetings, workshops, and follow-ups, and ensure timely dissemination of project-related information
- Data Analysis and Reporting
- Collect and analyze project data, prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to support decision-making processes and project reviews
- Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance project management processes
- Develop and deploy project management tools, suggest improvements, and assist in their implementation to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment, consistency, and successful delivery of project objectives
- Adherence to Best Practices
- Maintain adherence to established project management methodologies, standards, and best practices
This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded. This position is for United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd - a wholly owned subsidiary of United Airlines Inc.
QualificationsRequired
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, project management, Organizational Development & Effectiveness, or 4 years of relevant work experience
- 4+ Years Business experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize and facilitate effectively in order to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems while working under pressure
- Ability to show good judgment, take initiative, and make decisions to accomplish job duties
- Demonstrate an ability to lead cross-functional projects and work closely with peers to ensure successful outcomes
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
- Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
Preferred
- Masters degree
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira, or similar)
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is a plus
- Experience leading both IT and Non – IT (business) related projects/initiatives
