Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

Analyze the requirements of documents and licenses to import and export all spare parts material and equipment.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

US Customs, export & import procedures.

Analyze, identify and classify parts to ensure full import compliance.

HTSUS Schedule B, License determination classification, mainly applied to aircraft parts.

Record Keeping.

Review and implement procedures to maintain record-keeping systems/process in compliance with US Customs and International regulations.

Perform regular internal/external audits including customs brokers to identify disclose and/or work to fix any potential import/export concern.

Flagging for value reconciliation.

Follow-up controls and update records related to pricing, quality, dates, etc.

Obtain necessary information internally and externally (Vendors, customers, regulatory agencies, etc…) to ensure proper logistics coordination for imports.

Submit documents to legal and/or compliance department as per their request.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education:

BA in Business Administration or International Trade/Commerce or equivalent combination of experience.

Experience:

Consultant Level Administrative Professional Contributor on a Project or Work Team.

Generally, 8-10 years of experience or more in area of responsibility experience with material importation and exportation processes analysis and preparation according to the requirements from U.S. government and international agencies.

Experience with international customs regulations and trading practices in Latin America.

Previous work experience with CBP or customer brokerage firm

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Understanding of Exportation and Importation processes and regulations (ITAR International Traffic in Arms regulations, EAR – Export administration Regulation, TAA – Technical Assistant Agreement, DSP-05, DSP-73, DSP-83, End User certificates).

Business vision & competitiveness skills (Managing innovation, the customer service, growth, and creativity).

Proficient in Internet Explorer, Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access), Lotus Notes and SAP.

Business oriented.
