Job Description:

Electrical Assemblers’ duties include crimping, soldering, and wire routing for helicopter cable, wire harness and Electro-mechanical fabrication in accordance with manufacturing procedures and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Ability to use AMP, D.M.C and Molex hand crimpers and/or Crimping machines to meet or exceed IPC-620 guidelines.
  • Ability to solder thru-hole PC boards and D-subminiature connectors.
  • Familiarity with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) prevention methods and IPC-620 guidelines for electronics manufacturing acceptance/defect criteria.
  • Ability to use signal generators, oscilloscopes, volt-meters, and other test equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and geometric tolerances.
  • Basic mathematic skills include but are not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry and algebra for calculating material fabrication.
  • Must be capable of using calipers and basic measuring tools.
  • Full compliance with the Company’s DOT Antidrug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
Salary Range: $20-$24/hr
