The Boeing Company is looking for an Associate Engineering Technical Specialist to join our team in Berkeley, MO. This role will support team efforts for test planning, execution, and reporting across multiple lab test sites and capabilities throughout the Enterprise.
This position will be a lab coordinator/technical role in laboratories that support many different platforms (F-15, F/A-18, T-7A, MQ-25, and others). The role has two primary functions. One is coordinating with the customers using the laboratories to provide access, test support and other functions. The second role is ensuring alignment with Boeing’s laboratory initiatives for safety, 5S, FOD, and others. The team supports multiple laboratories at the Berkeley site, so flexibility and adaptability are critical.
Position Responsibilities:
Contributes to the development, documentation, implementation and consultation for the application of engineering tools, processes and standards
Assists with training in the utilization of processes and tools and supports the integration of engineering designs
Assists in the identification and validation of user access roles and tip sheets
Supports the development and implementation of standards
Assists in providing configuration management, coordinating changes and performing assessments of compliance
Assists in the development, maintenance and distribution of engineering documents, reports and correspondence to enable business activity
Collects, analyzes and validates engineering performance metrics and coordinates organizational requirements to support business needs
Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of components, test fixtures and test systems
Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post test tear-down
Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results
Troubleshoots basic laboratory and test-related problems
Works under general supervision
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience collaborating and working across teams
1+ years of experience working in a laboratory environment
1+ years of experience in a customer service role
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
An active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
2+ years of experience with testing or assembly
Electrical skills experience: soldering, electrical and instrument troubleshooting, making cables, control system assembly (from drawing), taking measurements, etc.
1+ years of experience creating and documenting test plans/procedures, executing tests, analyzing results, and/or creating test reports
Mechanical skills experience: basic mechanical systems, proficient use of common hand tools, ability to work with small parts
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years related work experience , 7 years related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $71,400 – $96,600
