The Skunk Works® is looking for an mid-career lead engineer experienced in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Configuration Management(CM) disciplines. The successful candidate knows how to lead teams in the implementation and utilization of disciplined technical management processes to establish and maintain the consistency of a product’s functional, physical, and performance attributes throughout its lifecycle. A Program Configuration Management lead is responsible for the planning and daily tasking of configuration management activities for a program Configuration Management team. The ideal candidate is a proven expert in MBSE CM, prepared to manage task loads a team, and solve complex problems.
This program lead position (Typically 9+ years’ experience) includes the following responsibilities:
• Develop program CM processes and procedures
• Configuration Item Identification
• Implement and maintain Change Management Practices
• Configuration Status Accounting
• Item Unique Identification (IUID)
• Formal Software Configuration Management
• Technical Baseline Management
• Bill of Material(BOM) Maintenance
• Service Order/Bulletin Management (TCTOs, METOs, FTCs, SBs, etc.)
• Document Release
• Model Release
• Supplier Configuration Management process
• Configuration Audits (FCA/PCA)
• Configuration Management(CM) Subject Matter Expert (SME)

A level 4 employee Typically has 9 - 15 years of professional experience.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
