Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Cyber Systems Security Engineer. In this role, you will automate cyber engineering task, harden operating systems, and perform disaster recovery operations when required. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Linux “SLES, RHEL”, Windows OS and scripting languages in PowerShell, Python JavaScript etc.
Must be a US Citizen; This position will require a government security clearance; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Info Technology, Computer Eng., etc.
• Basic knowledge of either Linux “SLES, RHEL” or Windows Operating Systems
• Basic knowledge of a scripting language in either PowerShell or Python
Must be a US Citizen; This position will require a government security clearance; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 Equivalent Certification i.e. Security Plus
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
