Lockheed Martin is seeking a full-time Early Career Electronics Engineer. In this role, you will research, design, develop, and test a variety of electronic equipment and systems. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of radar and radiation detection equipment, radio, television and other communications equipment & systems, circuitry components, analog & digital computers. They should also have basic knowledge of electronic circuitry and sensors.

Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Computer or Systems Engineering

• C, C++, Java, Python, bash, Linux, etc

• Industry tools including: Flomaster, Amesim, MATLAB, Simulink, StateFlow, Easy 5, or Catia V5

• Basic computer skills (MS Operating System and Office Suite)

• Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP communications protocol

- Be able to design electrical circuits with analog and digital components

- Experience creating electrical architectures and system requirements.

- RADAR fundamentals of operation

- Background in the design and integration of aircraft subsystems

- Experience, via applied engineering principles, with aircraft Landing Gear systems.

- Flight Test Experience

- Background or coursework in MPI and OpenMP parallel programming

- Background or coursework in Ansys, HFSS, CST, and/or FEKO

- Background or coursework in Rapid prototyping / Additive manufacturing

- Background or coursework in technical design and fabrication of metallic/composites materials

- Background or coursework in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)

- Background or coursework in mechanical design of electromagnetic/RF components, electrical packaging, or power system layout

- Background or coursework in RCS Predictions (Method of Moments (MOM), Xpatch, Sentri, or HFSS)

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $55,300 - $106,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $63,600 - $119,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
