Job Summary


We are looking for a part time, entry level Engineering Coordinator to provide administrative support in formatting quality procedures, forms, and instructions into the proper style so that they can be released in a controlled manner. Help to coordinate the release and approval of quality documentation through Omnify. May also assist with other QMS related administrative activities as needed and assigned.


Job Responsibilities



  • Perform a variety of routine activities in support of functional areas such as production operations, engineering, quality or human resources for a specific project, business or a technical unit.

  • Gather, collect, record, track and verify data and information from multiple sources, i.e., manufacturing engineering, operations, design engineering and or/quality. 

  • Compile, review and analyze data for administrative context and clarity.

  • Use software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence, and presentations. Software to include SharePoint, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • May design processes to enhance workflow.

  • Provide data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures.

  • This position typically spends 70 of their time supporting the function.

  • Moderate understanding of general job aspects and good understanding of the detailed aspects of the job

  • Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.


Job Responsibilities Part II



  • May coordinate special projects and complete ad hoc assignments.


Job Requirements:
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and 2+ years of experience
  • Must be flexible and willing to move between projects and tasks quickly and as needed.
  • The ability to listen to others and to work well as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to manage own time effectively, produce work of the highest quality, and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Knowledge of office procedures and good writing and verbal skills

 

This position is part time - up to 16 hours per week.
