Job Description SummaryWe are recruiting for an entry to mid-level Enterprise Application Engineer with experience in Oracle R12. In this role you will be part of a team that supports in the delivery of technical solutions and development on Oracle R12 best practice (data model knowledge, API driven development and coding standards).

As an Enterprise Application Engineer you will also support all aspects of the Aviation ERP footprint and associated 3rd party integrated applications. The role will be responsible for technical deliverables and development as per GE and Oracle standards applying agile approach.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a good foundation of related experience in Oracle R12 and some experience with development tools such as PL/SQL, Forms, XML Publisher, Oracle Applications Framework (OAF), Linux/ Unix shell scripting.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ability to take ownership of small and medium sized tasks and deliver independently

  • Contributes to design discussions.

  • Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts.

  • Has the ability to analyze impact of technology choices.

  • Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems.

  • Proactively shares information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness.

Minimum Qualifications: 

Bachelors Degree in a STEM related subject field is preferred, although consideration will be given to other subjects with relevant work experience.

Eligibility Requirement:

This role will be based in the UK and can be based either fully remotely (home based) with some infrequent travel to site office, or hybrid.
You must be based in the UK and eligible for SC Clearance in order to perform this role.

Desired Skills:

  • Some experience working with Oracle R12 and development tools such as PL/SQL, Forms, XML Publisher, Oracle Applications Framework (OAF), Linux/ Unix shell scripting

  • Functional understanding of Finance modules. Basic understanding of General Ledger and Accounts Receivables modules

  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills that non-technical end users can understand, Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Experience working in an Agile environment
