Description:This Lockheed Martin Applications & Automation organization role supports the One Lockheed Martin Transformation (1LMX) Model Based Enterprise (MBE) scope which is made up of the Concept to Product, Issue to Complete and Design to Sustain value streams.

The candidate selected for this Full Stack Engineer position will support the Enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system and Enterprise Part Registry. Successful candidates will work with the MBE Enablement Agile Product team and functional stakeholders to implement IT solutions meeting functional requirements and provide ongoing operations & maintenance of the delivered products.
Responsible for development of IT solutions across all components of software systems through design, integration, implementation, and support. Proficient in infrastructure, security, software development, database management systems, systems integration, and automation. Develops using agile processes and common technology stacks.
This is a full-time telecommuting position open to any US based location.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of software development experience including proficiency in full-stack web development (frontend, backend, database, and REST/SOAP/other service types).
- US Citizenship is required for this role due to Defense Systems access requirement
- Experience delivering software solutions that meet identified business needs using an industry leading PLM platform (ie. Dassault 3DX, PTC Windchill, Siemens TeamCenter)
- Expertise with SQL, Java, and/or Javascript languages.
- Proficiency with at least one relational DB (PostgreSQL, SQLServer, MySQL, etc.)
- Disaster recovery: backups and restores of virtual machines, databases, and network equipment
- Infrastructure automation tools
- Familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure as code
- Familiarity integrating DevOps tools into end-to-end pipelines
- Troubleshooting applications
- IT experience of any combination in system/database/network planning & administration - Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
Desired Skills:
- Engineering, Production Operations and/or Supply Chain domain experience including knowledge of the Engineering release and related downstream business processes
- Extensive hands-on experience with cloud technologies, Amazon Web Services preferred, but other cloud platforms such as OpenStack and others are relevant as well
- Experience with various flavors of Linux (RHEL, CentOS) or MS Windows Server (2012 R2, 2016, Nano) environments and the ability to build, configure, and maintain via Command Line Interface (CLI)
- Git and Gitlab-CI
- Configuration and deployment of applications using Openshift/Kubernetes
- Experience on Agile development programs. (Jira, VersionOne)
- Incorporating authentication standards and security protocols: OAuth, SAML, TLS, etc.
- Experience supporting a high performing virtual team. Individual should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
- Self-motivated learner, active learner, driven, strong problem solver
- Other: SAP, AWS, Python, performance testing, XML and JSON Schema, OAGIS BOD
- Applying updates and patches
- Use of Splunk or other log aggregation & system monitoring tools

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $98,800 - $186,100. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $85,900 - $164,600 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
