G2G Satellite Navigation Test Processing Engineer (d/f/m)
Reporting to the G2G Satellite Navigation Performance Manager and the G2G Satellite Navigation Test Director, the G2G Satellite Navigation Test Processing Engineer will work in the Galileo 2nd Generation Space Segment team thereby supporting the navigation performance testing of the GTS payload and modules.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Operation of satellite navigation signals data processing software
Preparation, configuration and execution of data processing from navigation performance testing in laboratory and from AIT campaigns
Initial assessment and presentation of data processing results
Support to preparation of test plans and test procedures on data processing aspects
Support to debugging of data processing and to automatic report generation
Support to improvement of data processing software, e.g. w.r.t. results assessment and presentation
Desired skills and qualifications
University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Physics, Aerospace and/or Space Engineering or equivalent
Experience in laboratory automated testing and measurement data evaluations
Experience in complex measurement data-processing or simulation analysis with Matlab
Experience in RF signal analysis for wide-band GNSS, CDMA or Radar signals (filtering, non-linear distortions, up/down-sampling, correlation etc.)
Ideally, experience on GNSS navigation receiver RF-signal processing, navigation signal characteristics and navigation systems (GPS, Galileo, EGNOS, GLONASS, etc.)
Capability to work in an international team and with international customers (e.g. ESA, EC)
Negotiation level in English
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
