Our client, a global leader in advanced composites technology, is seeking to reduce scrap rate and cost of poor quality. The client is seeking assistance to identify causes of the cost over runs and implement corrective actions.

Industrial Engineer Job Description:

Industrial Engineer to perform labor time studies, analyzing data, and identifying areas for improvement to enhance productivity and reduce costs. This position will be leading this assessment per project guidelines and must be able to work independently after initial direction. 

Industrial Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Conduct time studies and gather data on production processes to determine actual vs. system standard by part number and/or process area.
  • Map this data in an understandable and actionable format.
  • In addition to providing part/program data as it is collected and analyzed, complete a final report at end of project with all findings.
  • Analyze data collected during time studies to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas where productivity can be enhanced.
  • Detail-oriented and highly observant to accurately capture and document time study data.
  • Ability to work independently.

Qualifications:
  • Time Study Engineer Required Skills
  • Proven experience in conducting time studies and implementing process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical skills.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
