Synopsis
The role of an Aircraft Maintenance Program Engineer is crucial to ensuring the safety and airworthiness of Etihad Airways fleet. Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the maintenance Program in-line with UAE Civil Aviation regulations

About the role, function:
Identify scheduled requirement from the source documents as per CAR M, CAR AIR OPS
Produce AMP, send it to GCAA and share with CAMO planning then share production planning who to execute.
Post maintenance – review the findings and come up with mitigation actions.
Data analysis
Maintenance Program Engineer is responsible to ensure that Etihad Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP) meets all CAR M requirements related to the setup and continuous airworthiness and optimization of Aircraft Maintenance Programs of the assigned fleets, which is required for Etihad to maintain the CAR M (maintenance) approval documented within the Etihad Air Operator Certificate (AOC).
Accountabilities
Development and implementation of an approved Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP) for Etihad fleets as per Etihad policies and procedures to ensure an optimized cost efficient and safe Maintenance Program.
Ensures and demonstrates effectiveness of the Maintenance Programs of the assigned fleets through periodic review and analysis of the maintenance programs in terms of reliability parameters and applicable regulations.
Maintain close liaison with the Reliability Engineering group to identify need for adjustment in the Maintenance Programs, and make necessary adjustments into maintenance programs to support on time performance.
Liaise with manufacturers, vendors and other operators and customers to obtain technical data to constantly review the requirements and to recommend changes to AMPs through AMP meetings.
Contribute to constructive and friendly team relations based on warmth and respect. Participate to team and department meetings, identifying and exploring synergies to continuously increase efficiency and quality of EY Fleet Engineering
Manage projects as directed by Manager Maintenance Program.

Education & Experience
Tertiary qualifications that meet the eligibility requirements for membership as a charted engineer (e.g. Bachelor degree in the field of Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic engineering) with a minimum 5 years Aircraft Engineering experience Or diploma/Aircraft License with at least 8 years of experience in aviation maintenance.
Demonstrate knowledge of scheduled maintenance, CAR M, CAR 145, CAR AIROPS, manufacturer documents such as MRB, MPD and related docs
Knowledge of authoring engineering documents such as job cards, task cards, detailed understanding of AMM, TSM, TPM, CAME.
Should have excellent collaboration and communication skills to engage with authorities, Internal/external stakeholders at all levels and OEMs.
Good knowledge of AMOS Comprehensive knowledge of analytical applications and usage including building Macros and basic SQL applications.
Ability to analyze the maintenance data and provide actionable insights
