Job Summary


Join our Menomonee Falls, WI team as a Manufacturing Engineer II! Manufacturing Engineers at Leonardo DRS are involved with the design, development, modification, and analysis of manufacturing processing products and devices that support power systems on US Navy vessels. This engineer troubleshoots and diagnoses problems with existing processes or products and makes modifications and improvements as needed. They compile and evaluate process or product design and recommend design approaches to meet production requirements for new or improved products or processes.


What You Will Do



  • Provide direct engineering support to manufacturing operations

  • Perform design, fabrication, modification and/or evaluation of manufacturing operations

  • May prepare plans, conduct support studies, and provide analysis or tests in the development of manufacturing operations

  • Involved in the development of manufacturing process plans, test requirements, and manufacturing flow, and capacity plans

  • Review detail designs for manufacturability and producibility

  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization


Education & Experience Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable engineering field with 2+ years applicable manufacturing experience

  • Specialties may include manufacturing, production, industrial, welding, tooling, testing, processing, software, and robotics

  • Candidates must be a US citizen and meet DRS security standards as imposed by DoD, including the issuance of any necessary security clearance by the US government within a reasonable time after commencement of employment
