Were seeking an Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our Modules Assembly team!

Job Description

Essentials Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on the development and enhancement of manufacturing methods, actively participating in the creation of process routings.
  • Provide support for the design, procurement, and building of essential tooling and equipment.
  • Assist in the implementation of equipment upgrades, overseeing the entire process from purchase to installation and operation.
  • Assist in cost/benefit analyses for proposed changes to processes and equipment to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Help to identify product quality issues stemming from process variations and participate in quality enhancement efforts.
  • Develop lean-manufacturing principles and participate in lean events to enhance process capability, reduce overall costs, and increase operational capacity.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Degree in Aeronautical or Aerospace, Mechanical, Energy, Material or Management Engineering from an accredited University.
  • English and Italian fluency, written and verbal.
  • EU work permit.
  • MS Office knowledge.
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions.
  • Ability to manage activities simultaneously.

  • Analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodology.
