Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer will undertake engineering work from concept to completion for transport category aircraft maintenance, modification, and repair within project teams. The engineer will handle the following:

• Engage in design, analysis, certification, and project management, as well as providing engineering drawings for aircraft systems.
• Integrate complex systems into airborne vehicles.
• Design and analyze aircraft structural elements, especially for interior modifications and avionics upgrades.
• Prepare engineering reports, drawings, and test plans.
• Develop modification/installation and repair work instructions.
• Coordinate project schedules and monitor structural aspects.
• Support proposal development and liaise with approval authorities.
• Delegate work within the engineering team and apply specialization for creative problem-solving.
• Strive for continuous process improvements with a safety focus.
• Maintain close communication with the Manager, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

• Must have minimum four (4) years of full scope aviation/aerospace mechanical engineering experience from concept to completion for systems, interiors/exteriors, and modular components.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Proficiency in CAD software. SolidWorks experience required.
• Experience with FAA certification processes, STC, ODA, and regulatory requirements.
• Solid foundation in PDM & Configuration Management practices.
• Excellent communication skills.
