Job Summary

The Operations Performance & Design Consultant supports our Purpose by supporting the strategy, analysis, design, and implementation of operational performance initiatives that aim to achieve positive and sustainable results within our stations. This role supports Operations, Commercial, and Finance departments to align our People, assets, and network to improve processes, reduce cost and complexity, and enable and maximize revenue opportunities. The Operations Performance & Design Consultant is an innovative, analytical thinker who is excited to drive the Companys performance.

Additional Details:

This role is a hybrid position based out of our Corporate Campus in Dallas, TX, which requires Employees to work onsite on our Corporate Campus at least three days a week. The Department designates the specific three days of the week Employees must work on-site.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to developing strategies and business insights from qualitative and quantitative information
  • Help structure complex problems and act to holistically solve them
  • Distills complex problems and data sets into simple summaries that can be understood by all levels of Leadership
  • Identifies opportunities through analysis that drive business decisions and long-term strategy
  • Create value through identifying and implementing business improvements
  • Develop well-written presentations that are clear and convey key information, including business cases, roadmaps and other materials that support alignment efforts
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and lead meetings with key stakeholders at all levels
  • Support special programs and initiatives that arise from unique operational challenges
  • Communicate timelines, risks, issues, key decisions to multiple stakeholders
  • Encourage consensus among multiple parties with conflicting and diverse viewpoints
  • Build confidence and sustain trusted relationships with key stakeholders
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employees Leader

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Skilled in understanding and applying information to contribute to the organization&39;s strategic plan
  • Skilled in identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Skilled in data analysis and visualizing data to drive insights using tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, R, SQL, Python, think-cell, MS Excel, etc
  • Skilled in synthesizing information within PowerPoint presentations and delivering them to affected stakeholders
  • Ability to use statistical and mathematical models to draw conclusions
  • Ability to effectively listen to, understand, and communicate ideas presented in writing and/or in speaking with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to quickly understand assignments and complete them with a high degree of accuracy with minimal leadership oversight
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to function under stress, meet deadlines, prioritize multiple/competing tasks, and work collaboratively with a team
Education
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED

Experience
  • Advanced experience and knowledge in:
    • Working directly with Department Leaders (VP and Director level) on complex business changes and improvements
    • Developing and executing business plans
    • Managing all phases of large scale programs, with an emphasis on complex business change
    • Developing and presenting recommendations to Senior Executives on self-created opportunities
    • Leading Teams, setting Team goals, managing competing priorities, presenting to 20 or more people, and interfacing directly with Sr. Leaders and Executives

Physical Abilities
  • Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job

Other Qualifications
  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines

Pay & Benefits:

  • Competitive market salary from $124,550 per year to $138,400 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
