This is an unparalleled opportunity to contribute to a groundbreaking program that will make history by landing the first woman and first person of color on the Moon. As the ATLO (Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations) Electrical Test Engineering Manager on the Orion program, you will play a pivotal role in leading the electrical test team through the planning, preparation, and execution of electrical integration activities and powered testing for the Orion spacecraft, including Artemis II (first crewed flight), Artemis III (lunar landing), and future missions.

Summary of Key Duties:
• Lead test planning and test procedure development for system and subsystem-level electrical tests on the Orion spacecraft and test articles
• Manage day-to-day test operations for current flight articles (Artemis II and Artemis III), the Environmental Test Article (ETA), and future vehicles under Orion Production
• Provide managerial oversight for all electrical test engineers, including hiring, training, work assignments, performance assessments, salary planning, career discussions, and recognition
• Coordinate electrical test activities with program stakeholders, NASA customers, and the European Space Agency (ESA)
• Drive affordability and commonality initiatives, promote disciplined execution of standard processes, and ensure the utilization of best practices

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree (Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or closely related field)
• Fundamental knowledge of test engineering principles, operations, and processes
• Experience in a supervisory or lead position, overseeing the work of other engineers
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules, with minimal direct oversight
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours as needed to support test activities
Desired Skills:
• Experience in subsystem/system electrical integration and powered testing
• Experience in preparing, managing, and executing system-level or spacecraft tests
• Familiarity with the Orion spacecraft or experience on a production spacecraft program
• Strong communication skills and Full Spectrum Leadership capabilities
• Experience engaging with NASA customers and program management

• Understanding of automated test scripts and configuration management

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
