Be a part of the Artemis and Orion teams taking astronauts to the Moon and beyond. This is your chance to be at the center of a generational program that will land the first woman and first person of color on the Moon. As the ATLO (Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations) Electrical Test Engineering Manager on the Orion program, you will provide direction to the electrical test team in the planning, preparation, and implementation of electrical integration activities and powered testing for the Orion spacecraft for Artemis II (first crewed flight), Artemis III (lunar landing), and future missions.

Summary of Key Duties:
• Oversee test planning and test procedure development of system and subsystem-level electrical tests on the Orion spacecraft and test articles
• Responsible for the direction of day to day operations of test activities on current flight articles (Artemis II and Artemis III), the Environmental Test Article (ETA), and future vehicles under Orion Production
• Perform manager functions for all electrical test engineers including hiring, training, work assignments, performance assessments, salary planning, career discussions, and recognition
Coordinate electrical test activities with the program, NASA customer, and the European Space Agency (ESA)
• Facilitate affordability and commonality initiatives, institutionalize disciplined follow through of standard processes, ensuring best practices are communicated and utilized

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree (Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or closely related field)
• Fundamental knowledge of test engineering, operations, and processes
• Experience in a supervisory or lead position planning and defining the work of other engineers
• Capable of working in a high-energy environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules with minimal provided oversight
• Willing to travel and work extended hours in support of test activities
Desired Skills:
• Experience in subsystem/system electrical integration and powered testing
• Experience with the preparation, oversight, and execution of system-level or spacecraft tests
• Knowledge of the Orion spacecraft or experience on a production spacecraft program
• Excellent communication and Full Spectrum Leadership skills
• Experience communicating with NASA customers and with program management
• Familiarity with electrical ground support equipment and test equipment
• Experience using Automation Framework software
• Understanding of automated test scripts and configuration management
• Knowledge and experience in SAP systems, production control systems, and manufacturing work instructions

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
