Description:This Lockheed Martin Applications & Automation organization role supports the One Lockheed Martin Transformation (1LMX) Model Based Enterprise (MBE) scope which is made up of the Concept to Product, Issue to Complete and Design to Sustain valuestreams.
The candidate selected for this Software Engineer position will support the Enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system and Enterprise Part Registry. Successful candidates will work with the MBE Enablement Agile Product team and functional stakeholders to implement IT solutions meeting functional requirements and provide ongoing operations & maintenance of the delivered products.
A successful candidate should be comfortable working independently and as part of a team to develop software, troubleshoot issues and meet business requirements using an industry standard Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool.
This position is fully remote and requires US citizenship.
Basic Qualifications:
- Excellent Java and Object Oriented development skills with at least 4 years experience demonstrated through the software development lifecycle from conceptual design to sustainment
- Experience delivering software solutions that meet identified business needs using an industry leading PLM platform (ie. Dassault 3DX, PTC Windchill, Siemens TeamCenter)
- Experience interfacing multiple IT systems using APIs, web services, REST, SOAP, OData and middleware platforms
- Agile software development experience and familiarity with Agile tools (Jira, VersionOne)
US Citizenship is required for this role due to Defense Systems access requirement
Desired Skills:
- Engineering, Production Operations and/or Supply Chain domain experience including knowledge of the Engineering release and related downstream business processes
- Experience managing interfaces amongst multiple enterprise applications
- Experience partnering with COTS software suppliers to deliver solutions
- Broad knowledge of related IT domains including hosting, networking, databases and storage
- Experience working as part of a high performing virtual team
- Strong Soft skills, active participant in virtual sessions, strong presentation skills, and ability to translate technical topics to business value for customers
- Self motivated learner, active learner, driven, strong problem solver

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, and New York is $98,800 - $186,100. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $100,400 - $192,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
