Job Description:

Description:The Radar Commodity Lead will be the main interface for all commodity part procurements, coordinating with the various subcontract management teams, program buyers and NMAC buyers as required, with a focus on continuous improvement of schedule and cost performance. This includes material release strategy, over target evaluations, life-time buy analysis and strategy, long term agreement strategy, etc. This role will require close coordination with the Engineering team to drive continuous improvement in addition to the Operations and quality teams to help resolve line down situations related to commodity parts. This position will also lead the DMS effort from a supply chain perspective for the Radar Common Product Team. This includes regular engagement in all DMS team meetings, part evaluations, and resulting second source efforts. This position will also support capture and proposal efforts as required, as well as IWSS level strategic projects.
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong subcontracts administration/organization/ management skills, P2P fluent with supply chain management experience and ability to execute complex projects
- Knowledge of state-of-the-art technology and technology providers
- Working knowledge of various contracting types (Firm Fixed, Price, Cost Plus, Incentive Fee, Award Fee, T&M, etc.,.) and contract terms negotiations for various agreement types (PIAs, IP Licensing, Corpdocs, etc.)
- FAR / DFAR contracting experience
- Proven problem solving and negotiation skills, solid interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work with all levels of management, results oriented and ability to adapt to change
Desired Skills:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an expert, authority in discipline.

• Ability to work autonomously with suppliers and customers
• Proven relationships across business functions to drive results
• Problem-solving skills at both detailed and high levels
• Experience working proposals and managing supplier RFPs and negotiations

• Ability to evaluate and recommend process improvements

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
