Program Specialist II (ELV - Construction)

Location: Kansas City, MO

As a Program Specialist II here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating various programs and projects within the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of these programs, meeting all objectives and deadlines. Your strong organizational and communication skills will be essential in driving the success of these initiatives.

You will report directly to our Program Manager and youll work out of our Kansas City, MO location on a hybrid work schedule (3 day in office/2 days home office).

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization by effectively managing and coordinating programs that drive business growth and success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•   Manage and coordinate various programs and projects within the organization
•   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of programs
•   Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets
•   Monitor and track program progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks
•   Communicate program updates and status to stakeholders
•   Conduct program evaluations and assessments to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum 2 years experience in program management or related field
  • Some knowledge of ELV-Construction

WE VALUE

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution (Preferrable Electrical or Electronics)
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) Experience with project management tools and software (SAP or Oracle)
  • PM Principles & Processes with emphasis on IPDS phase II-V
  • SOW-thru-WBS-BOE thru Integrated Master Schedule
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management
  • Risk Management (identification & mitigation) (program risk process management)
  • Knowledge of cost & financials (ex. RDE, spend, forecast, variance)
  • Requirements Management & Fulfillment, Planning/Estimation
  • Scheduling - includes resource-loading critical path analysis
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

You will support forecasting & capacity analysis related to delivery requirements. You will play an important role in the IPDS process and strategies to achieve committed business performance. You will support business leaders and present programmatic details, requirements, actions, and status as assigned. As a Program Specialist II you will execute on scope, schedule, cost, delivery, earned value & quality while demonstrating PM skills including risk management.
