Description:Perform Supplier Quality Engineer duties on a variety of programs across all lines of business. Determine quality requirements for purchased parts, develop inspection plans, support IPT meetings, disposition nonconforming material, act as liaison between suppliers and Lockheed Martin in regards to quality issues, facilitate/review/approve supplier corrective action requests, support both internal and external audits, support supplier visits of both a proactive and reactive nature as required, attend program reviews and other duties as assigned. May be assigned specific suppliers that he/she will be responsible for with regard to surveillance and quality concerns. Must be familiar with and capable of learning all software associated with programming and verification of CMM. Will be required to maintain inspection equipment and perform scheduled/routine upkeep of CMMs.

Lockheed Martin Archbald is a full-service Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) facility that provides design, manufacturing, engineering, & field service support for both domestic and international customers. Our site manufacturers many products within the Precision Guided Systems (PGS), Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) and other MFC lines of business. The Locale: Archbald is located in Northeastern Pennsylvania and is part of Lackawanna County in the Blue Ridge Mountain range. The entire region is about 100 miles from both New York City and Philadelphia. Archbald is a suburb of Scranton, PA. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.

Ability to learn software associated with inspection equipment use, operate various CMMs and generate/validate/run programs.

Ability to focus on continual improvement practices using causal analysis tools to drive corrective and preventive actions.

Be able to effectively communicate with Customer, suppliers, Program team and other functional departments.

Willingness/ability to travel to support new training requirements and/or program issues/needs as they arise.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and support engineering activities related to special process surveys and supplier issues.

Strong communication (both oral and written) will be necessary to support the assignment.

Ability to pass visual acuity and color perception exam.

Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
A technical degree is a plus, due to technical requirements related to the daily tasks.

Knowledge and understanding of electrical and mechanical blueprint reading, critical design attributes and auditing/surveying capabilities.

Experience with SAP and/or Apriso.

FAI experience.

IPC/J-STD, GD&T familiarity.

Familiarity with AS9100, ISO9001 and NQA-1/10CFR50 Appendix B.

Experience with or certification in lean manufacturing/Lean Six Sigma.

MRB experience.

Strong problem solving skills, corrective action and causal analysis techniques.

Audit, Process Line Verification and/or Hardware Quality Assessment experience.

CMM Programming and/or Inspection experience.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
