As a Senior Advanced Project Engineer, you will be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Global Engineering Services and the Chief Engineering/Product Engineering organization.  You will support Momentum Factory Support, DMAIC and Supplier support activities impacting the Honeywell South Bend Location and the sister divisions supporting that facility. 

In addition, you will have Class II Design Authority for the Engines Site for Phase 6 ECNs supporting ISC and will be leading the Engineering effort to release those ECNs as well as MRB authority. You will partner with world class engineers and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.

 

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and Milestone development/management
  • Customer interface
  • Class II Design Authority for Phase 6 ECNs
  • Manage MRB activity processed through the facility
  • Work closely with Operations & Quality to control & reduce MRB activity using root cause analysis & corrective action response
  • Work independently & effectively in a cross functional teams
  • Integration with ISC effort events as well as agile projects to review proposed processing changes to ensure product integrity
  • Estimation development and analysis
  • Provide support of program cost, schedule, performance & risk mitigation
  • Drives execution of Engineering MRB & mitigates risk in a timely manner
  • Budget analysis
  • Metric development/reporting
  • Vendor interface
  • Project Performance metrics

 

 

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years experience in engineering
