Be responsible for providing technicalexpertise on a variety of projects and programs for exciting new technologiesin the field of Atmospheric Sensing and LiDAR. You will use your expertknowledge of systems integration and architecture development to supportbreakthrough product development. You will serve as the focal point for systemsarchitecture development and integration with a multidisciplinary team ofengineers and scientists. You will also support new business opportunities andpursuits with an integrated sales, business, and technical team.

  • New Product Design & Development
  • System Design, Development, and Documentation
  • Aircraft and System architecture integration
  • Process development and standardization
  • Support development of Minimum Operating Standards for Industry
  • Support system verification and algorithm validation
  • Technical reporting and customer interface
  • Coordinator between interdisciplinary teams
  • Project Management
  • Risk Management
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working systems design in an aerospace R&D environment or similar field
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and customers
  • Research & Development experience with systems integration
  • Systems Architecture and Requirements Definition experience
WE VALUE
  • Masters Degree or PhD in Engineering
  • Strong understanding of aerospace regulations, standards, and certification processes (e.g., DO-178, DO-254, ARP4754)
  • Experience with system-level testing and verification techniques, including test plan development, test execution, and test report generation
  • Experience with new product and technology development and go-to-market activities
  • Knowledge of LiDAR and Laser technology
  • Experience with optics
  • Atmospheric modeling experience
  • Experience briefing Senior Leadership and 3rd party stakeholders such as customers and sub-contractors
  • An open, honest, and team-oriented personality
  • Ability to lead, motivate, develop, and mentor others
  • Experience serving as a team leader for systems development programs
