Position Summary:

We are seeking an Anti-Radiation Missile (ARM) Subject Matter Expert to join our motivated Advanced Capabilities and Expert Solutions (ACES) Division and support our ARM-U training team in Whidbey Island, WA.

The ACES Division supports Tactical Air Support's mission by delivering world-class training, products, and support directly to fleet aviators. As part of ACES, the Weapons sector provides the latest information on weapons capabilities, mission planning requirements, and aircraft interface and functionality to warfighters so they can be successful in combat. The weapons training team thrives in a dynamic and challenging environment providing test support within NAVAIR, tactical research and consulting, and fleet aircrew training.

Responsibilities:

  • Research, process, and distill complex technical material for meaningful and engaging presentation to fleet Naval Aviators with specific emphasis on the AGM-88 family of weapons.
  • Conduct professional, in-person training for both large and small groups of aircrew with varied experience levels.
  • Cross-train and assist other priority efforts within ACES (SCS, hardware, NATIP).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • A combination of background, education, and training may be considered in lieu of a technical degree.
  • Minimum of eight years as EA-18G aircrew (pilot or WSO).
  • Familiarity and expertise with the AGM-88 family of weapons and EA-18G mission planning and training systems.
  • Travel (20%) required to various work sites throughout the U.S. Potential for limited international travel.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Valid US passport.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance.

Desired Experience/Skills:

  • Extensive operational Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) experience and graduate-level credentials in Growler employment, instruction, and/or flight test, with specific emphasis on the AGM-88 family of weapons.
  • Experience coordinating and planning with various operational squadrons, training squadrons, test squadrons, program offices, and tactical centers of excellence.
  • Familiarity or experience with the U.S. Armed Forces and Department of Defense (DoD) federal contractors and the aerospace, defense, or commercial aviation industry.
  • Ability to conduct professional, in-person training to both large and small groups of aircrew with varied experience levels covering an array of technical material.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to correctly prioritize workload to maintain schedules, deadlines, and standards on assigned projects.

Work Authorization:

Must be lawfully eligible to work in the United States and complete a U.S. government I-9 Form.
