Job Description SummaryThe Software Engineer – Developer Tools will be responsible for supporting and integrating a suite of applications and platforms to support the developer tools portfolio within GE Aerospace. This role will be geared towards integrating developer applications and platforms in GE’s Aerospace to provide a seamless integrating universe for business-critical developers. This individual would be responsible for defining and implementing integration and automation strategy for the future.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:  

  • Support SaaS, AWS, and on-prem developer platforms in alignment with GE Aerospace’s strategy
  • Tools include, but not limited to, White Source, Rally, jFrog Artifactory, Confluence, Jira, GitHub, etc.
  • Scope and manage a contingent worker team guiding and supporting them in delivering quality platforms with high availability and integrity.
  • Ensure compliance of platforms based on risk and regulatory based controls requirement.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree with 6+ years of professional experience
  • Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, API implementation (REST, SOAP‚ etc.)
  • Experience in CI/CD processes

Coordinates teams work and performance with broader organizational objectives and manages conflicts between them. Advises others in how to solve difficult problems.
