Description:Responsibilities will include supporting the development of automated test equipment, manufacturing test planning, preparation of test procedures from engineering requirements, support of electro-mechanical integration, and perform test anomaly troubleshooting and fault resolution.

This role requires knowledge / experience with (1) electronic circuits, (2) automated test software, (3) manufacturing test in a production environment, (4) the ability to interpret engineering requirements, (5) evaluate electrical test results, (6) conduct detailed failure analysis, (7) develop and implement root cause and corrective / preventative actions and (8) utilize statistical data analysis for trend analysis.

Previous experience with programming languages C, C++, C, National Instrument’s Lab-View Lab-Windows CVI and Test-Stand software and a familiarity with common electronic test equipment, components and devices is very desirable.

The Locale: Troy, Alabama is in the East Gulf Coastal Plains region of southeastern Alabama. Troys climate is typical of areas along the Gulf of Mexico in that it has hot, humid summers and mild winters. Troy is a great place to live offering lots of things to do and has a small-town charm. Troy is also a college town and is home to Troy University. Where can you get to from Troy? Troy is just under an hour south of Montgomery, Alabama. Troy is about 2.5 hours north of the Gulf of Mexico and Fort Walton Beach and Floridas Pan Handle. Troy is about three hours from Atlanta, GA.
Basic Qualifications:
Degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related technical discipline at the Bachelor level or above.

Position requires 5+ years of production test experience in a manufacturing environment with a related Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of production test experience with a related Master’s degree.

Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications and schematics.

Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance. Lockheed Martin will assist selected candidate with obtaining at least an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting. Additionally, the candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.
