Youwill work under limited supervision and alongside some of the worlds mosttalented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywells nextgeneration of Aerospace products. Be part of a group of highly committedprofessionals who provide aftermarket product performance analysis and team upwith engineering to ensure our products exceed customers expectations. Youwill interact with internal and external customers to complete all improvementdevelopments under established timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reliability Program Engineer reports to the Snr Manager Reliability and is responsible for aircraft, power plant and component trend/performance analysis
  • Collects data from maintenance and engineering systems and performs statistical analysis to monitor and evaluate the operational and technical performance of the Maintenance Support Agreement (MSA) component
  • Analyzes technical data from aircraft maintenance log and aircraft service records to determine cause and failure trends
  • Monitors delays, pilot write-ups and other technical interruptions and evaluates data for trends
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in developing trend-monitoring reports using visualization tools such as Spotfire, Palantir Foundry, Tableau etc
  • Analyzes component shop finding reports to determine cause and failure trends and interfaces with Business Partners to develop solutions via the Engineering Control Repair Approval process - approve/reject Engineering Control work scope requirements and complete cost benefit
  • Produces Monthly Reliability Reports and provides on-demand technical reports to Honeywell/United management as needed to evaluate aircraft, powerplant and component reliability performance
  • Coordinate and presents at Technical Monthly/Quarterly Reliability and Performance meetings
  • Maintain a Reliability Program Management Rail
  • Track SB Incorporation Status and Fleet penetration and Effectiveness of solutions
  • Work with Honeywell In-Service Engineering for emerging trends identification via Reliability Data (MTBUR/MTBF/Weibull/Low Time Failures)
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering
  • 6 + years of experience in engineering
  • 3 + years of experience in reliability and project/program management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
WE VALUE
  • General knowledge/experience in aerospace products
  • Experience in reliability engineering with emphasis on reliability MTBx statistics and product data management
  • Database query skills with emphasis on the use of SQL, VBA, and MS Access
  • Six Sigma Green Belt, Design for Six Sigma, Black Belt/MBB or Lean Expert/Lean Master certifications preferred
  • Program Management experience; (PMP certified or equivalent, a plus)
  • Advanced communications/presentation/ leadership/people skills are essential
  • Demonstrated business acumen
  • Ability to think big, bold, courageous, challenges conventional wisdom and legacy practices
  • Ability to persuade/influence others to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership or customers
  • Global teaming and collaboration experience

  • Proficiency Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, OneNote, Outlook)
