As a Sr Systems Integration Engineer, you will be using your skills and expertise to define, design, simulate, integrate, test, certify, and support cutting edge products and services. You’ll be responsible for designing systems to meet demanding customer requirements, developing and building complex systems integration labs to verify the design, and integrate a variety of systems together to create a seamless product for the customer. Responsibilities:
- Excel as the primary interface to customer technical representatives, co-contractors, and sub- contractors in fast-paced, high-visibility, delivery environment
- Lead Integration, Verification, & Validation efforts for complex systems, sub-systems, and components
- Support a geographically dispersed engineering team on large product integration and test efforts
Must-haves:
- Bachelors Degree in a related field of study and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
- progressive experience working in multidisciplinary design & development teams
- Demonstrated understanding and experience with the practical application of requirements development and management, system design, systems integration, technical risk identification, management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
- Familiar with environmental, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and electromagnetic interference (EMI) qualifications (DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461)
- Experience with lab test equipment to include signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, network analyzers
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance
Preferred:
- Experience with requirements management and system modelling tools, such as ENOVIA Requirements Management, Cameo, Dymola, and MATLAB
- Practical knowledge of industry standard system engineering design principles, to include, but not limited to requirements management, traditional and Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
- Experience and certification in INCOSE standards (ASEP/CSEP)
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
- Experience leading baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of high impact trade studies and other measures
- Thorough understanding of establishing and tracking key Technical Performance Measurements (TPM)
- Active Top Secret Clearance
