Boeing Global Services Large Derivative Aircraft Structural Integrity Program is currently seeking Structural Integrity and Durability and Damage Tolerance (DaDT) Engineers to support the growing business portfolio of KC-135, E-6, AEW&C, E-4B and other customers. These positions are located in Oklahoma City, OK.
Position Responsibilities:
Perform crack growth and durability and damage tolerance analysis (DaDTA).
Determine and provide recommendations for aircraft maintenance plans, inspection intervals, etc. to support mission-readiness of the fleets we support.
Develops, integrates, and documents structural requirements to establish the system design.
Coordinates with other engineering groups to establish the products environment.
Guides product design and verifies structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.
Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.
Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.
Works under general direction.
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)
Experience with aerospace stress analysis and/or structural analysis
Experience performing Durability and Damage Tolerance Analysis for Aircraft
Typical Education/ Experience:
Associate (Level 2)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Mid-Level (Level 3)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for mid-level: $71,400 - $96,600
Summary pay range for senior level: $88,400 - $119,600
