The Logistics Information Systems (LIS), Sustainment Senior Manager is primarily responsible for executing the F-35 system & software sustainment functions for the fielded ALIS baselines with annual budgets of ~$200M. In this role, the selected candidate will lead a team of ~75 information systems, architecture, and project engineering professionals and is accountable to the Digital Sustainment & Analytics (DSA) Director in LM Aero’s Sustainment Operations organization. The LIS Sustainment Senior Manager not only leads the F-35 ALIS Transition, Field Engineering, Action Request Support, and Warfighter Integration & Demonstration teams, but has similar work scope in leading F-22 IMIS architecture and hardware redesign, Sustainment NBF/IRAD projects, and Sustainment support for ADP among other Aero platforms.
The LIS Sustainment Senior Manager is ultimately accountable for the rapid delivery of accurate Sustainment technical solutions, implementation strategies, roadmaps, establishment of key performance measures, and technical baseline alignment, including close collaboration across many F-35, F-22, AMMM, and ADP programs as well as functions such as E&T, Sustainment, IT, and 1LMX.
The successful candidate will be accountable to execute the program requirements within cost and schedule constraints including, but not limited to, the following key activities:

* L-code activities for staffing, budgeting (OBS Responsibility), recruitment, hiring, training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions

* Provide planning, organization, control, integration and completion of the LIS Systems/Software sustainment tasks

* Provide overall planning, organization, control, and integration of the field AR/PTRs into the fielded baseline release(s) for ALIS, ODIN, IMIS, etc

* Ensure horizontal integration of LIS Systems/Software sustainment activities across active contracts, to include Development activities

* Review and approve proposals prior to submission for accuracy and completeness

* Ensure program operations are meeting or exceeding program goals and objectives

* Establish, refine, maintain and monitor program metrics to identify operational deficiencies, establish root causes and implement corrective actions to achieve all program cost, schedule, and technical objectives

* Identify and implement areas of process improvements for program policies and procedures

* Provide weekly status reports to senior program management and customer representatives

* Prepare for and participate in Monthly/Quarterly program reviews

* Prioritize tasks and resolve intra-program conflicts

* Responsible site lead for the Orlando-based LM Aero Sustainment, supporting yearly IWTA alignment for the Sustainment footprint, liaising with RMS POCs, facilitating LM Aero Shipping, Service/Printing, Rearrangement, and Rent needs.

This position will have a direct relationship with the customer and will frequently engage with various program stakeholders across the enterprise.

Basic Qualifications:
* Outstanding knowledge of and demonstrated ability to manage Engineering for Sustainment, Systems & Software Engineering, Logistics IT, and/or the DevSecOps lifecycle/processes.

* Logistics and/or sustainment operations experience in a DOD / Flightline environment

* Experience resolving technical challenges with cross functional teams

* Proven Experience with EVMS, OBS/CAM, IMP/IMS, ROMP, and/or Proposal Mgmt Processes

* Full Spectrum Leadership characteristics, to include managing other leaders, excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate to all levels of management and customer organizations

* Able to obtain a SECRET/SAR clearance

* Working knowledge of fifth generation fighter sortie generation lifecycle maintenance, supply, and mission planning/debrief processes

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
