The F-35 program is a large, international program involving the design, manufacturing, operation, and maintenance of the F-35 air system utilizing a global network of suppliers, co-producers, and service providers to deliver capability to both foreign and domestic customers. Understanding the requirements, allowances, and restrictions for the information, products, materials, and services that can be provided to foreign customers and industry is critical to successful program execution.
The F-35 Exportability & Disclosure Policy (EDP) team is seeking a candidate to apply systems engineering techniques, analytical methods, and critical thinking to:
• Provide guidance and direction to ensure export policy compliance across all program areas throughout the product lifecycle
• Maintain exportability requirements and provide training and assistance to program personnel
• Provide guidance on exportability verification efforts for the program’s air system products
We need a candidate who is driven to learn and explore new areas, enjoys being part of a team, and thinks strategically and creatively with proven problem-solving skills. The successful candidate must demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills as the position will require frequent interactions and collaboration (internal and external) with leadership, project leads, other team members, and personnel from disciplines across the F-35 line of business (e.g., engineering, production, sustainment). The ability to work in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team environment is critical.

Basic Qualifications:
• STEM bachelor’s degree required (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautics Engineering or related technical degree)

• Engineering requirements development and/or decomposition experience

• Experience with system engineering processes

• U.S. citizen with an active Secret security clearance required and the ability to obtain and maintain special program access per business requirements
Desired Skills:
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively lead and collaborate in a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and discern priorities in a dynamic environment
• Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of LM and Government Stakeholders
• Experience with National Disclosure Policy (NDP) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
• Knowledge of Contract Specification Requirements
• Experience in test plan/procedure preparation and/or test execution with complex systems
• Willing to learn new information and integrate with disciplines outside of their own in order to work through complex issues
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
