Description:We are Lockheed Martin

MPE provides F-35 ground mission planning, mission debrief, security and sensor reprogramming capabilities. This candidate will be an integral part of the Joint Reprogramming Enterprise team as well as a member of a team of engineers responsible for the development of MPE software used by Mission Data programmers, F-35 pilots, and system administrators. The candidate’s primary responsibility will be to provide operational, training, and maintenance support for the MPE Reprogramming Lab tools; Mission Data File Release (MDFR) and Mission Planning Support Environment (MPSE). Additional responsibilities include collaboration with Fort Worth MPE team, troubleshooting, reporting and documenting issues.

This position will be located at the JRE facility, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. The position could require periodic domestic travel to Fort Worth, Texas.

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree in a STEM related discipline from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education

Experience with tactical aircraft and ground based systems, specifically sensors, datalinks, and weapons system planning.

** Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

The position requires at least a Secret Clearance updated within the last 6 years to be considered. Candidate must be eligible to obtain Special Access Required (SAR) clearances.
Desired Skills:
Experience with Crypto Key Management systems.

Experience with mission planning (e.g. Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) or equivalent mission planning system).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience with the F-35 Mission Planning Environment and/or Mission Systems

Have, or be able to obtain, and retain DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security, etc.)

Experience with Windows-based systems and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Project)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
