What You Will Be Doing

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics has opportunity for an engineer to join Simulation and System Test (SST) Battle Space Environment (BSE) team in Marietta, Ga.

You will join a multi-disciplinary team and:
• Contribute to the creation of design solutions that address complex engineering problems across F-22 and F-35 Platforms.
• Decompose capabilities and requirements into software interfaces.
• Support definition and communication of complete verification plans, procedures, testing, and reports.
• Support technical implementation by collaborating across multiple disciplines to ensure technical parameters, interfaces, and assumptions are consistent across teams, and interface with stakeholders to ensure program goals are met.

You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications:
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent STEM field from an accredited college.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
Desired Skills:
• Working on cross-functional teams (Hardware, Software, Integration, and Test).
• Requirements development, System Design, SEP Certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Familiarity or experience with the following:
o Avionics, Mission Systems, Vehicle Systems, and Weapons.
o Communication, Navigation, and Identification.
o Electronic Warfare.
o Radar.
o Aircraft Simulation.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
