What You Will Be Doing

Provide systems engineering integration and test support, to include but not limited to, developing, testing and maintaining aircraft simulation systems and subsystems utilized for aircraft capability integration and weapons systems development from concept design through production and delivery. A qualified candidate will shatter silos by working across multiple disciplines, suppliers, and users to ensure all aspects of the project are covered with appropriate requirements. Understanding of industry-standard requirement formulation, decomposition, flow-down, traceability, and metrics. The ability to work with functional experts and generate verification and validation plans for requirement.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: technical oversight for: System Integration Laboratory build-up, system requirements derivation, requirements management, requirements change management, system design development, system integration planning, system requirements verification, system performance validation, and onsite installation, setup and acceptance testing of an ADP system. This position will require close coordination with ADP Project Leadership plus proactive engagement with L&TS simulation software, subsystem procurement, hardware development teams, and other teams both inside and outside LM Aeronautics, to ensure an effective system engineering communication interface is established and maintained.

You will need to be a US Citizen, and currently possess and be able to maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or above in STEM-related discipline, or equivalent experience

- Experience with integrating and testing hardware or software Systems within a System Integration Lab (SIL) environment
Desired Skills:
- Mechanical/electrical blueprint drafting.
- 3D and 2D CAD modeling.
- Strong avionics/electrical/aircraft background (hands-on aircraft preferred).
- SIL and Sim Lab experience.
- Rapid Development and Test Article Builds experience.
- Avionics hardware integration and test.
- Knowledge of Avionics Databus Architecture (1553, ARINC429, RS-485, etc)
- Wiring Diagram design (Capital harness design software).
- Electrical Harness fabrication and test.
- Knowledge of avionics hardware production process specifications.
- PC and Networking Hardware installation and configuration.
- Develop Test procedures and Engineering documents.
- System troubleshooting.
- Understanding of Avionics Systems
- Experience with managing Avionics LRU tracking COMSEC HW with batteries

- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite tools
- U-2 experience and familiarity with U-2 processes

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $118,100 - $226,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $135,800 - $256,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
