Description:Systems Engineering Integration and Test Engineer to support system engineering integration and test activities for all platforms (rotary, fixed, ground, maritime) that support the SOF operator. The candidate will support Aviation and SOF Systems, Services, and Sustainment activities in Lexington, KY, reporting to Systems Test Lead.

The ideal candidate will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, activities for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Candidate should be able to ensure logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
In addition, the ideal candidate will:
Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Develop test plans, test procedures, and automated test scripts for system and subsystem-level tests on supported SOF Platforms and test articles
Perform test procedure and test script checkout on site in Lexington, KY, or TDY as may be required
Collaborate with team members across SOF programs including systems, mechanical, electrical, and stress engineering.
A secret security clearance, or ability to obtain one, is required.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree (Electrical Engineering, or closely related field preferred) or equivalent experience/combined education
Willing to work extended hours, including
2nd/3rd shifts and weekends, in support of test activities
Willing to travel
Desired Skills:
Fundamental knowledge of test engineering, operations, and processes
Experience writing test plans, test procedures, or technical documents
Experience in subsystem/system electrical integration and power testing
Experience preparing for and executing system-level tests
Familiarity with electrical ground support equipment and test equipment
Experience using Automation Framework tools
Understanding of automated test scripts and configuration management
Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
