Jackson Jet Center, a Boise based FBO, is seeking a Director of Operations, ATP Certificate required. Individual plans, organizes and directs all aspects of the flight operations, including assisting in the development and/or administration of policies, department goals and objectives. Together with the Chief Pilot, directs and coordinates program efforts toward the safest, most practical, efficient and profitable performance of the Company’s flights and related activities. Job Requirements:
- Must hold an airline transport pilot certificate, meeting the requirements of F.A.R. 119.71, and either:
1) Have at least 3 years supervisory or managerial experience within the last 6 years in a position that exercised operational control over any operations conducted under part 121 or part 135;
2) in the case of a person becoming Director of Operations for the first time, have at least 3 years’ experience, within the past 6 years, as pilot in command of an aircraft operated under part 121 or part 135 of this chapter. OR, in the case of a person with previous experience as a Director of Operations, have at least 3 years’ experience, as pilot in command of an aircraft operated under part 121 or part 135.
- Experience in evaluating organizational operations as they relate to policies, goals and objectives. Must have excellent communications skills, both oral and written,
have a valid driver’s license with insurable record. Incumbent must receive FAA approval.
